As 2025 comes to a close, there are many options to ensure your gift is processed before the end of the calendar year.

The UT Foundation main office is closed Dec. 22-26, 2025. The Constituent Management Team will have limited office hours on Dec. 23 and Dec. 26. If you wish to make a gift during that time, please do so online.

DATES TO KNOW:
- Gifts made by credit card either in-person or by phone must be received no later than 3 p.m. ET on Wednesday, Dec. 31.
- Gifts made online must be received by 11:30 p.m. on Wednesday, Dec. 31.

- Wire transfers of stock or other securities and cash must be received in the UT Foundation account before the close of business on Wednesday, Dec. 31. Please be aware that electronic transfers can take 24 hours and as much as 48-72 hours to process. In order to qualify as a 2025 gift our account must show receipt on or before Dec. 31, 2025. Electronic transfer instructions are available online.
- Gifts of securities must be received in the Foundation’s brokerage account by Dec. 31, for calendar year 2025 credit.
- Gifts of mutual funds and physical stock certificates should be initiated by Dec. 12, for calendar year 2025 credit.
- Electronic transfers of securities should be initiated by Friday, Dec. 19 to qualify as a 2025 gift.
- Foreign security gifts also take time. We recommend initiating this types of donations prior to Dec. 12 to receive a 2025 tax credit.
- For gifts of securities, please utilize the Foundation’s brokerage account at BNY Mellon/Pershing.
