Assistant Director of Stewardship, UT Knoxville

My position includes…
working with donors, students, faculty and staff with the Tickle College of Engineering to engage and cultivate relationships, and build our engineering community.
My favorite UTFI memory is…
getting to go to a Lady Vols game in the NICE seats… thanks, Wilgus!
My favorite part of my job is…
learning about the incredible research and innovation projects of our faculty and students.
As a kid I wanted to be…
what every child wants to be, an astronaut! I even went to Space Camp in Alabama twice and the crayon drawing I made of the night sky at age 6 still hangs on my refrigerator door!
My bucket list includes…
taking my girls to all the unbelievable places that I’ve been…Crater Lake, NYC, Yellowstone, the Vatican, the fjords of Norway and the plains of Oklahoma.
My hidden talent is…
I can squeeze a tune out of the accordion.
My theme song is…
“Don’t Worry, Be Happy.”
Few know that I…
have had the fortune of working with Baz Luhrmann.
The best piece of advice I received was…
“The easiest way to approach someone, is to approach them.” – Byron Bray (CAMI)
