Assistant Director of Alumni and Annual Giving

My position includes…

I oversee annual giving programs, including direct mail, special solicitations and the Big Orange Give. I manage the Telefund program in partnership with UTK, developing calling strategies to engage new donors and strengthen participation. I review and analyze fundraising data and analytics to evaluate campaign performance, identify trends and inform strategies for future outreach. I also support academic fundraising solicitations and work with fundraisers on donor outreach, recognition and stewardship efforts.

I’m an avid concertgoer. I’ve been to over 80 concerts!

The best piece of advice I ever received was…

from my great-grandfather: “The very least you can do is speak to people.” I’ve carried those words with me ever since. I’m always trying to meet new people, and I never look at someone as a stranger. I see every person as an opportunity to get to know them better, hear their story and learn something from their experiences.
