Assistant Director of Stewardship and Donor Relations at UT Institute of Agriculture
My position includes
stewarding donors who have given anywhere in UTIA, including the Herbert College of Agriculture, UT College of Veterinary Medicine, AgResearch and UT Extension.
To understand what I do, you must understand
the importance of acknowledging donors and communicating how their gift is making an impact.
My favorite part of my job is
planning Grateful Ag Day, a two-day event where students from the Herbert College of Agriculture and UT College of Veterinary Medicine write thank you letters to donors.
As a kid I wanted to be
a lawyer/dog groomer/princess.
If I were gifted with a secret power, it would be
telekinesis.
My bucket list includes
traveling to Australia.
My personal motto is
“work hard and be kind”.
My theme song is
“Left Hand Free” by alt-J.
Few know that I
am a competitive cornhole player and play 2-3 nights a week. My fiance and I met while playing the game!
The best piece of advice I ever received was
never ask someone to do something you wouldn’t do yourself.
I start each morning with
hitting the snooze button.
