Kindsight - Milestone 2

Milestone 2 is well underway with several data integrity tasks being reviewed by UTFI teams prior to release to production.
What do these updates mean for you?
Payments lists both Constituent and Organization Donor.
More than 200 records were updated where a payment record listed both a constituent and an organization donor. These records were converted incorrectly during the transition from ANDI to ACE. The User Experience team has established a new review process to ensure data integrity moving forward.
Hard Credit Recipient filed on soft credit record is not populated.
Identified a data conversion issue and updated 20,000 soft credit records where the Hard Credit Recipient field was blank. This issue did not affect any gift or donor counts, but did impact the Hard Credit Donor shown on the constituent giving detail page.
Conversion of ANDI allocation override data.
More than 80,000 designation overrides have been loaded on gifts and pledges from ANDI legacy data. Overrides are used as temporary placeholders when gifts or pledges are received for accounts that have not yet been created or fully released. These placeholders are used until funds are transferred to the final, permanent designation and appear on donor receipts and acknowledgement letters.

Updated 1,100 Soft Credit records where the Hard Credit Recipient was not populated with the correct donor. This issue did not impact any gift or donor counts, but did impact the Hard Credit Donor displayed on the constituent giving detail page.
Adjust ANDI DAF Outright Gifts to Payments on Gift Intentions.
Due to system limitations in ANDI, payments toward Gift Intentions could not be applied as payments and were processed as outright gifts. To improve data integrity and clarity in ACE, we have adjusted these outright gifts to payments on the original Gift Intention. A total of 712 gifts were adjusted and applied toward 253 Gift Intentions.
One active address per type and mailing address type.
The address configuration has been updated so that all constituents have one active address per type (home, business, seasonal, etc.). A new address type of “mailing” has been added to be used for P.O. Boxes and other non-physical mailing addresses.
Review Interims configuration to improve efficiency.
A process has been created to improve system efficiencies and accuracy when processing external constituent demo-bio data in ACE.
Fix payments without a hard/soft credit record.
During the conversion process, some pledge payments were processed as an outright gift and then later adjusted to a pledge payment. During the adjustment process, there were 67 pledge payments that lost the hard/soft credit. The UTFI and Kindsight teams have reviewed and corrected those records. The root cause of the issue was identified and a solution was implemented.
Fix ANDI non-philanthropic transactions to designations that are not marked "non-charitable."
In the conversion to ACE, our policy and process for identifying non-charitable transactions changed. This was previously identified with a transaction type, but in ACE these payments are determined by the designation record. 16,570 transactions were updated to reflect the correct non-charitable designation.
Process to exclude individual transactions from campaign counting.
On rare occasions, UTFI processes transactions that should not be included in campaign fundraising totals, typically because they have already been counted in a previous fiscal year. A new business process and campaign code was implemented to account for these transactions and prevent the need for hard coding reports and dashboards moving forward. 2,690 converted pledge/gift opportunities and payment records were updated with the new campaign code.
